Installation Instructions:
1. Unplug your HOTAS Cougar joystick.
2. Run the "2007_HCO_VISTA_32_RC2.exe " setup to install the new version.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen and Reboot your computer (if asked to) .
4. If Windows ask you, follow the instructions to install the drivers.
5. You are then ready to use your Hotas Cougar.

NOTE: Users that have already installed the driver version 3.0 [Public Beta] may simply update to this version by installing the patch available HERE.
1. Unplug your HOTAS Cougar joystick.
2. Run the "HotasCougarv3.exe" setup to install the new version.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen and Reboot your computer (if asked to) .
4. If Windows ask you, follow the instructions to install the drivers.
5. Under Windows 98 SE and Windows Me, run the "HOTASUpdate.exe" program to install the latest firmware. A shortcut is located in the start menu folder.
6. You are then ready to use all the latest improvements for your Hotas Cougar.

HotasCompiler.exe :
Multiple bug fixes using different statements that were known to cause compiler crash or to not work properly.
HotasConfig.exe (CCP) :
Communication between the CCP and the Cougar has been made more efficient. Manual Calibration has been completely overhauled and rewritten. New use for calibration whereby the user can have multiple calibration profiles (one of which the "Active Calibration Profile").
HotasUpdate.exe :
Communication between the updater and the Cougar has been made more efficient. Support for the new Manual Calibration features.
CougarBState.exe :
With the emulation enabled, this new application enables the user to see the current state of both the Physical buttons and the available XFlags.
